Review on Hoover Bag Porta Power Adapter by Kimberly Johnson

Without a gasket or rubber grommet, suction power will be greatly reduced when using this adapter. I used a perimeter gasket to make the seal and it works great, but when it comes time to change the pouch (the pouches are very small) the gasket needs to be reinstalled. There is a seal on the reusable dust bag, why it is not on the adapter is not clear. I first tried a reusable bag and cleaning the bag was messy and a chore I'd rather not repeat. Bad Hoover design.
