You need to be careful to order the correct set as for reasons unknown Shark makes several different sets of these filters which look almost the same in photos but are totally incompatible with each other. Some of them are MUCH bigger than others. First measure your filters, compare with online offers and then buy the right set. Once you figure it out, it's a good deal. Two complete sets of filters that I didn't even know I'd have to change, for not a lot of money. Foam filter, yes. It gets dirty very quickly and requires frequent cleaning. Small flat lap underneath, not really. And a big air purifier filter, oh my god I thought it was forever. But it also needs to be replaced. Mine has been there four or five years I think. And it WAS pretty messy. With this set you can replace all three at once. They fit perfectly, easy to take off the old ones and put on the new ones. Shark vacuum cleaners are very well designed in this regard. With the new kit, you can achieve stronger suction, less odor and less dust blown out of the vacuum cleaner outlet. And then you have a spare set when you take them off to clean (or just replace). I also kept the original, albeit torn, foam filter for another stock if needed.
