I can't believe how much of this I got! The center looks very plump because of the nut pictured, it's actually only 2-3 inches from the bottom and the bolster is about 5-6 inches high. I bought this because my two medium sized beagle puppies like to sleep together and their feet are all over the place. This bed gives both of them so much space and comfort that they now prefer it to my bedroom bed!
