Review on WindyNation ANL Fuse Holder with 2pcs 200A Fuses by Dee Parson

I fitted a new solar system to my camper van and it was installed between my positive rail and my line to the batteries to ensure my batteries would not go bad in the event of an over voltage / short circuit. We used a lot of current from our inverter to charge our battery (our inverter charges at 100A), which was well below the 250A backup rating. I went outside and smelled the plastic/electronics on fire and traced it to my front panel to discover that the fuse had melted its own case. All of my wires around the fuse (only about 2 feet) were too hot to touch. After research (changing cables, removing components, rerouting lines, etc.) this fuse came out. I replaced the fuse with a spare fuse and nothing changed. After I removed the fuse from my cables all the cables were no longer too hot to touch which means the resistance is now gone and no appreciable heat needs to be spread across the cables. Do you plan on driving it through a 250A/12V switch? substitute.
