I'm giving them four stars because I bought a new pair of colored LEDs. They fixed the on/off switch and it's now a rubber silicon switch and NOT the little DIP switch I criticized in the first review - well done guys! Also, colored LEDs are good to find in a dimly lit party. They seem to sound better than before, but are still a bit lacking in bass. I overcame this weakness by connecting it to a woofer with a splitter on the auxiliary output cable from my Alexa point - one woofer out and one speaker out. So now I have good stereo sound with great bass. In general very satisfied! --------------- Previous Review ----------- So overall I really like these speakers with a few caveats. First of all they look very pretty and my wife is delighted to have them on our patio. They pair together easily and I use the Aux-in to connect the Echo Dot so I have Alexa functionality. They confirm the pairing AND the auxiliary input with voice confirmation. They have white LEDs that make them look like a flashlight. The sound is truly true stereo LR, which is highly regarded in the mono world of Bluetooth speakers. I would rate the sound quality as decent, but personally I would like more bass, which is a bit weak in the overall mix without tweaks. I have a pair of similar Shark stereo speakers that are smaller and sound better on the bass. Another caveat: the power button on each speaker is on the back of the units under a rubber strip that has to be lifted to reach it. I wish they would place it out of lane like they did with an LED switch that turns on the LED lights, which is more affordable but took me less getting used to than the on/off buttons. Overall a good speaker set at this price point, but it could be greatly improved in sound with cheaper power switches and better bass.
