I used these instead of the ear tips I got at work. No headphones allowed I really liked it when my music and not all the other radios turned up to 30. The bass is really decent for a cardioid. The mid-range leaves a lot to be desired, but I mean, come on, it's not a dedicated device. I used them with an old iPod. Worked great! It's noisy where I work. They do an excellent job of noise-cancelling, especially since my ears are *special*. They came with four sets of soft tissues of different sizes. I used the smallest one and almost cried. AFTER ALL! Earplugs that work without making my ear three sizes bigger! comfort! Joy! For example, if there is a need to pass an OSHA audit, they will definitely do their job. In general I am very satisfied.
