I'm a compulsive explorer to death person. I bought an Antop antenna about 2 years ago and it worked really well. I bought this and again I am very happy with the purchase. I stop at 49 stations near CAL airport. The approximate distance to the towers is 35-40 miles. I get all the major networks out of Cleveland except FOX which I can probably get but don't quite get it yet. Right now it's on an old TV wall mount, about 6ft off the ground, at ground level, so far from the best position. I get all the majors and FOX from Youngstown and this is with the antenna pointing northwest towards the towers in Cleveland. All major chains and most others are crystal clear. I have an amp at max and haven't tried tuning it yet. It's just straight out of the box, take it and see what information I can get. Next plan is to reuse the directv roof mount and raise this thing a little higher and hopefully a little farther from any obstructions. You can even put a rotator on it, but honestly I'm not sure I need it. I love the construction of this antenna and it is aesthetically pleasing as well. I have no hesitation in recommending this antenna. It's not very big and seems well protected from the weather.
