We have a very excited Border Collie next door. The owners let the dog loose, he stands between our two houses on the sidewalk and barks again and again - endlessly. We placed this product in our small area next to the sidewalk in hopes it would get her to go to the other side of her yard to get her barking. We had NO expectations that this would stop her barking. So from that perspective, it really worked. When she sees that the postman is still so turned on that he won't go across the yard. However, if she's just barking at the leaves or the air or something else that only she knows about, she'll bark a few times and move to the other side of her backyard. She doesn't react at all, as if the noise hurt her. We thought about buying a second one so she could walk two of them. We would do it in the hope that she would just stay away from our house. Not sure if this will work.
