I bought a used truck (Ram 6.7L 2500 2010) that didn't have a backup camera and this is pretty much a must for me as I have multiple trailers and a 5th wheel hook on, along with shit all over our property that I can hit. Installation was pretty easy and I just followed the frame/brake line, then through the connector in the floor, under the carpet, to the dash/console, and the monitor was mounted on the dash at the top of the center console. Is working. like a charm and for the price it's worth it. Reversing a 3/4 ton truck in a parking lot can be a challenge. I've mainly used this for trailers because getting in and out of a truck 4-5 times really sucks, and with a backup camera you can do this 1 frame in advance. Much nicer to use this and not wait for someone to guide you.
