They are ideal for converting a wide Dell PSU into a narrow HP connector.

Not only fits well, but even better at both ends. It fits snugly into the Dell connector on the end of the Dell laptop adapter (same voltage for both) and fits snugly into the HP laptop end. Much better connection than the loose fit of the original.
