Review on Sony FACS1AM Off Camera Digital Flashes by Mark Taylor

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It serves the purpose for which I bought it.

The Sony FACS1AM Off-Camera Shoe for Sony Flashes is overpriced for what it is and does in my opinion, but it effectively serves the purpose I bought it for. Now I can mount a Sony HVL-F58AM flash on my camera and connect it to the "off-camera shoe" (which I can mount on the L-handle of the standard hot shoe) using the FAMC1AM multi-flash cable. "). ) so that I can activate a second flash for Sony (independent of brand) at the same time. It's as simple as that. Both flashes must be on or neither will fire. PS. I've found that when I turn on my Sony HVL- F58 AM mount on my flash radio trigger (mine is a Pixel King for Sony cameras), of course it mounts on my camera (Sony A580) or when I mount the flash on the radio (obviously, it's synced to the radio) and I have another flash mounted on a Sony FACS1AM shoe for off-camera, connected to my HVL-F58 with a FAMC1AM multi flash cable, after which I can turn off one of the two flashes and the other, but will continue to fire/ fire (if I'm doing what I just explained, both flashes don't have to be on at the same time for them to work).

Pros
  • Looking forward to it
Cons
  • Periodicity
