Review on πŸ–ŠοΈ Copic Marker Drawing Pen, Fine Tip, Black by Heather Shaw

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Slightly scratchy, not as thin as described

This is normal. The line isn't even close to 0.1. that's closer to the ultra-fine Japanese fountain pen. 0.1 would be thinner than my Japanese ultra-thin 3776, but it's easily twice as wide. The sepia ink looks good, a little more orange than the other sepia colors but looks good. But it's not waterproof at all, so no ink or water color for you. He's also pretty prickly. not bad if you're just doing hatching or downstrokes, but if you're trying to write it's not great. But these are not passes and not a hard start, so small wins. If you want the best writing and drawing pen at this price, get the Platinum Preppy Extra Fine. The Preppy is refillable, immune to drying out, smoother and higher quality, and can use platinum black ink, which is good enough for watercolors and ink washes.
