Review on Lavish Home 72 0893 Adjustable Gooseneck by Jamie Smith

I will have this lamp for 12 years next month. There were times when I didn't use it very much (working away from the office so my desk lamp wasn't needed) but for the past few years I've been working exclusively from home and this little guy has been forced to work. . I live in the Pacific Northwest and the months of November through May can be pretty boring. This lamp lights up my desk way better than my monitors or room lights, reducing eye strain and making dark days a little bit brighter (pun intended). I have yet to replace the bulb but it's good to see that this model is still for sale and can be replaced if needed. As mentioned, the base of the lamp has a large footprint so it takes up a little more desk space than I would like, but that doesn't make me love this lamp any less. It's not trendy (I have a black plastic model), but it goes great with my black monitors and computer/network gear. If you're looking for a nice, bright lamp to help you see through your chores, hobbies, reading, etc., and don't mind emphasizing function over form, look no further.
