Generally they are suitable for mood lighting. Don't expect blinding light, which is a good and bad thing in my opinion. I think these lights could be a little brighter. All those photos everyone is posting definitely look more saturated than what is visible to the naked eye. Initially they were easy to install in the center console area, but once you get close to the dashboard it becomes very difficult. The included tool is very thin and can hardly do the job; I ended up having to use it with my other tools because they were more powerful. Once installed, the application quickly connected to the controller and just played with it for a few minutes. I've probably only used it twice since installing it, the second time it took a while to connect but it eventually happened. It would be nice to have an updated app that, when it detects Bluetooth, automatically turns on the light with the previous settings.
