I purchased a different brand of this style brush several years ago. The brush was wonderful for my long, fine, thin hair which tangles very easily and is normally quite difficult to brush through when wet. Over the course of time, the little plastic nubbies on the tips of the bristles popped off--normal wear and tear I'm sure. The brush still worked well, but I was concerned if the nubbies were gone, maybe the brush was harsher on my hair than it should be. Instead of going back to amazon to order a new brush, I'd be out shopping and see a new "wet" brush and buy it, only to find it didn't perform nearly as nicely as these brushes. I was probably unfaithful to this style through 3 different brushes when I finally said enough is enough--pop onto amazon and just buy a new one. The brand I bought was no longer available, but I found these that looked identical with identical materials. My hair is happy again. And now I have 2 so I won't be tempted to find a cheap replacement elsewhere. If your hair is fine or tangles easily, just buy these. You won't be disappointed!
