I'm a very experienced DIY enthusiast and this seemed like a good idea. It doesn't form an airtight seal at either end as it's just a friction fit that depends on a cheap, transparent, rubber band-like device that fits over the dryer vent tube and the vent tube into the wall. Because of this slip fit, it's impossible to achieve a tight seal, and you'll get lint every time you run the dryer. Now I have to remove the stacked washing machines and dryers and replace them with fittings that guarantee tightness. The supplied flexible hose is of poor quality and very fragile. I would not recommend this solution.
