I have read many reviews of various handlebar covers about how difficult they can be to install. I definitely felt it in the beginning. But after reading someone's review on how to stretch it first, it helped a lot. I just hooked it around my knee and pulled with my hands until I heard the fabric creak a little. And then I rotated it a quarter turn and repeated the stretch. I started by laying it on the underside of the handlebars first and holding it with my knee while I pulled it over the rest of the handlebars. I absolutely couldn't put it on myself without stretching. Stretching played a crucial role in this. Very soft and comfortable. I have trouble with my fingers turning white and purple when touching something cold so I bought this for my 2004 Silverado 2500 for cold weather. Fits great. Doesn't spill much at all. Yes, you can see some rubber bands when they're on, but I don't care. This was to be expected. It's so soft I can see how it can make it easier for your hand to slide over the steering wheel. Just keep that in mind and hold the steering wheel tighter or use both hands instead of one.
