Cheap construction makes chartplotter difficult to remove
Threaded rod design makes chartplotter difficult to remove. You have to unscrew the rod almost completely to remove the device, and then you have to wiggle and rock the device. Garmin could do better, which pretty much sums up the description of many Garmin products.
