Our Sentria is about 10 years old and seems to need a new belt more often and you can't get it as deep as before without even starting to slip with it new belt. In the end I decided to try the new pulley as the old one had a very slick area where the belt was. The new reel has completely solved the sliding problem. I had an old belt and the new pulley worked 10 times better than the old pulley. The new video looks the same as the old one. The bristles seem to be very similar in length, maybe a little softer. If your Kirby keeps slipping when lowering the reel, try a new reel. It totally helped us and it works as before. Apparently we've set it 'too low' too many times over the past decade causing the belt to slip and wear over time like a smooth groove in an old roller. The new one does.
