Minus one star for no temperature control. I read a review on Ulta that mentioned the smell of hot plastic and I actually smelled it, but it went away after the first use. (You know what a new shower curtain insert is like - after the first shower it's ok). I love this hair dryer. Retro style and works very well. After wrapping my hair in Turbie Twist during a very quick makeover, I slapped myself over the head with this bad boy and my shoulder-length bob was dry to the bone in less than 2 minutes.
