USB hub falls off after a few months

Worked fine for 2 months. Then the USB connection abruptly dropped and all peripherals stopped working. After reconnecting the dongle to the laptop, it works for a few minutes but turns off after a while. Pay more and get a quality USB hub. It's useless, even for $9.
