Let's start by saying that I paid extra for this model with a case and strap. One strap came completely loose on first use. On the foam itself. It claims to be medium-hard, 3 inches thick, and 3.5 pounds. It's so tight after only 3 hours that my girlfriend and I had such bad back pain that we couldn't stay in bed. We tried again the second night with the same results. So far it was 3 inches. Is not. 2.5 inches, maybe 2.75 inches to be very generous. I called the company and asked specifically about the ILD for this foam (ILD is a manufacturer's specification of the firmness of a mattress pad or mattress) and also asked about certifications. They didn't know what ILD is and didn't really give me an answer as to why Revain lists 2 certifications and the packaging doesn't say anything about them at all. All in all a really horrible experience. A product I would definitely not recommend.
