Let me first say that I have not used this device since I received it. I was disappointed at first because I plugged it in and pressed the red "on" button and I couldn't find the audio output option on my switch and I wanted to return this unit and say it was defective. PLEASE, DO NOT DO THAT. You need to update your Nintendo Switch to the latest software version and [then] the Bluetooth option will appear in the switch settings (as in the picture). I restarted my AirPods to find a Bluetooth connection and Viola, it's connected. Now I use it all the time. Also, read someone's review about there being a gap between the switch and bluetooth dongle. And I'm not sure how it's going to cause a problem if you use the switch at an angle when in use so the screen is facing you so you don't touch or fiddle with the underside and when you remove the key it does has cutouts for your thumb so you can easily pull it out. I say buy it, it's a pretty good device and it will work fine in noisy public places.
