Obligatory stamp block set!

I'm an avid paper maker and have lots of stamping tools! Why? I'm a terrible punch and I need all the help I can get! I already have original Fiskars die blocks and die presses in two sizes. So I'm going to do a little comparison to show why they are MUCH better. This set contains three sizes of Easy Lift Die Blocks and one Position and Push Die Block. The old Fiskars die blocks are quite difficult to hold, especially if you have arthritis. They also tend to cause ink stains on fingers! Old sponge knuckles tend to wobble when pressed down, and I've gotten shaded knuckles on a regular basis. Aside from that, even the little one was too big for little stamps! This new set is the perfect combination of the best of both old blocks and no-fuss abs! Easy Lift stamp blocks have small rubber grips that are easier to hold than older stamp blocks and keep your fingers away from the ink. The thin acrylic makes it easy to place the stamps and lets you see where you're standing. They also fold up for easy storage. To use the position and pressure block, turn it over so the legs are up, line up the stamp with the grid marks, bring the ink pad to the stamp, turn it over and place the stamp. where you want, and then press on the stamp area, especially around the edges. Larger stamps require extra attention around the edges to get an even stamp. To use the Easy Lift stamp blocks you can either turn the block over with the handles down and place the stamp on top of the block and bring the ink to the stamp, or place the stamp on the paper and then position the block over the stamp and press while holding the handles, and then apply ink by bringing the stamp close to the ink pad. So easy to use and in no time you'll see how much better they are than the old drawings! And, YES, I have MISTI, it's awesome and a must-have for stamps! Why do I need them too? Spring. Sometimes you just want to stamp quickly and they come in very handy for that! I realize, that I grab them more and more often than I pull my crap out. A NOTICE. Thicker glue stamps like Tim Holtz are too big to use the Position and Press stamp block effectively because the legs don't hold the stamp. above the paper as the stamp is actually higher. However, it still works the same as the old dice block, but you just don't have the extra time that the legs offer. For example, look at the pictures I uploaded. but you just don't have the extra time that the legs offer.
