I bought two, one for my two dogs and they are great collars. I had a hard time deciding between 4 and 5 stars, but ended up with 4 because 5 would mean perfect and I can think of one thing (if only one) that I found far from perfect. In fact, the stiffness of the leather, combined with the close proximity of the metal loop to the buckle, makes it difficult to tuck excess collar into the loop once it has been fastened around the dog's neck. I understand this is probably a minor issue for those who intend to wear collars on their dogs all the time, but I remove the collars every night as my dogs sleep in the bed with me and have been known to lie on my chest. bath time too. Also, these are great collars. Very sturdy, good looking and none of my dogs seem to bother her at all. This is especially surprising for my little dog who has always used a harness because her neck is as big as her head and collars tend to snap off as soon as she or I pull.
