Firstly, other reviews are correct that it doesn't look 3D. It really isn't. But that doesn't mean it's not cool. My daughter loves the night light. She loves the colors and loves the interchangeable acrylic dinosaurs. The three included dinosaurs are a classic and she is very, very happy with them. A few things to consider when considering a purchase. Firstly, there is no box in the kit for connecting to an outlet. The cable ends with a USB connector. I would be very, very upset if I didn't have an extra box in my drawer for a now non-working charger. Second, paper-based decals were extremely awkward to peel off acrylic parts. Instead of sticking it directly onto the acrylic itself, why not stick a sticker on the cling film that peels away from the acrylic? There were sticky marks on the sticker that needed to be wiped off with alcohol. Thirdly, not all buttons on the remote control work for us. Luckily what they really care about works (colors and flashing) but the dimmer doesn't work at all and the number keys don't seem to do anything (I'm not exactly sure what they're for). do, but when they are there, they must do something.). In general, she's happy, so I'm happy. And I think any dinosaur obsessed kid would love this in his or her room.
