I got this as a college student to record lectures and I love it! Make sure you read the instructions as they are very helpful and make sure they stay charged. The indicators really help to know where the device is located. The ink writes well (I love a pen, so if it doesn't write well I don't need it!) and fairly thick in my opinion, but writes nicely on the skin. Haha.
