This is the second camera/monitor from this company and like the first the only problem was the problem of pulling the camera cable into the trunk. It takes some time to find a route to run the wire along. Every truck is different so the installer needs to be resourceful and spend some time searching. Camera: Bolted to rear license plate. Monitor: in front of the gear selector and below the heater controls. Wiring: cigarette lighter plug for monitor. Power only comes on when the ignition is on. The transmitter in the trunk is connected to the reversing light. This can take the most time when accessing lamp wiring. Make sure the plus goes to RED and the minus goes to BLACK. In this case, the monitor turns on only in "backup mode". Transmitter: mounted on the side panel of the trunk. The system "pairs" with good rear visibility immediately after switching on. I might add that multiple mounting brackets are included depending on preference. I can also report that the seller responds quickly to any issues and supports their product!
