When I ordered this vacuum I was hoping for the best but expecting the worst. I am very pleasantly surprised! It's a gem for use on hardwoods etc. It picks up pet hair, cat litter and just about anything with no problem. The head pivots so it easily fits into cracks and tight spaces. A fully charged car cleans my living room, dining room and kitchen on a single charge and has plenty of time to spare. And it's so easy, it's a dream come true for anyone with back problems or arthritis. At the same time, there are no kinks on the connector cables. Now for the cons: be prepared to use your hands to get hairs that seem to be stuck to the filter, and that doesn't work well on large areas of carpet. Pet hair sticks to this filter (only opens above the bin) and I can only remove it with my hands. So if you're squeamish, this could be a problem. use gloves? And while it's terrible on carpets in general, it's perfect for small carpets that your big vacuum wants to eat.
