WARNING: NOT exactly compatible with OEM Canon cartridges!

This set was a big mess. First of all, these are electronic instructions from their website and it's practically IMPOSSIBLE to understand exactly what you should be doing with the kit. After looking through the many BS PDFs from their website you will realize that this is NOT a refill of genuine Canon OEM ink cartridges, but rather a great decoy and switch to get you to buy your own refillable cartridge buy *or* they say funny you need to go to ebay and get an oem cart chip reset. Well it's a joke. When I found I was stuck I simply filled the OEM reservoir with ink and since it was empty I was told to press the bulb 7 times to fill the carriage, well on the 6th time press &% $# the ink bulb exploded where the needle touched it and black ink flowed EVERYWHERE. It was a terrible mess. I'd advise you to be sure to wear rubber gloves for this, and maybe outside on a big piece of cardboard with clothes you don't need. I eventually found out that on Canon Pixma models you can press and hold the STOP button for >8 seconds, which disables the ink control system, allowing you to continue printing with an "empty" cartridge on the printer. You must repeat this STOP button each time the printer is turned on. They should have FURTHER stated that this does NOT apply to OEM carriages and you must purchase their reusable carriages or they must be included in the ink pack. I would NOT recommend buying this and researching other options for these carts.
