I made the conversion from the Oneplus 3, and I was happy with the native application transfer—it wasn't perfect, but it was still admirable and had some very cool animation, like the little guys of the box moving from screen to screen. Even while purchasing, the display's corners were embarrassing, but my friends assured me that I would get used to them (I still hope for it .) It continues to seem strange that it is long and narrow; it would be preferable if it were 16:9, like it was previously. For some reason, there is no port for headphones; you must use an adaptor, which is not included. Since there is currently a trend toward abandoning ports in favor of wireless ones and reducing device thickness, this may have been done. There are bugs - sometimes the browser freezes, then some widgets stop appearing, then suddenly it doesn't allow changing permissions on applications (like allowing a microphone when they call on WhatsApp for the first time - everything freezes, I had to drop the call and reboot), but they have been resolved so far by rebooting, so I'm hoping there won't be any more significant bugs. I won't reiterate what has already been said in regards to the benefits. I switched off adaptive brightness and didn't observe any flickering or jumps in brightness or color, and everything is great now.
