Difficult to attach but works.

I got a new laptop and wanted to protect as many parts of it as possible. So when I saw this trackpad screen protector, I was ready. You get two such protections. It includes a damp cloth to clean the lining, basically a sticker to remove dust before placing the product on the trackpad, tabs with stickers that say "guides" but no instructions on what to do with them, and a square piece of plastic for smoothing out bubbles. (and not very efficient). Well, first of all, the instructions are TERRIBLE. They don't make any sense. To be honest, instructions written by other people are no better. There are those useless, confusing tabs that help with placement that didn't help at all. Also, one of the hinges seemed to be stuck to the product and the thing was difficult to remove from the product when I installed it on my trackpad. A sticky residue remained which cannot be removed now. This doesn't disturb the function of the overlay, but it annoys me. After cleaning the pad I just peeled off all the plastic film on the back of the tread and was lucky it kind of snapped into place. The plastic bubble popper didn't help and any pressure I applied left marks and I was afraid I'd pop it so I threw it away and scooped out the bubbles with my hand. Luckily, no traces were left, so everything ended well. Ultimately it did, and it's perfect, but the instructions must be much better or the company needs to post a video on this site explaining how to put it on.
