Review on 💽 Seagate ST500LT012 500GB 2.5" Internal Hard Drive - Momentus Thin by Hayden Xin ᠌

I bought it in June 2022, at that time it cost me 1200. During the entire time I used my machine, 3 hard drives died: one WD (Western Digital), two HGST (Hitachi), they did not even last a year. This one has been around for a year and a half. I handle the disk carefully, I monitor the temperature, I often do a sector-by-sector check. On s. M.a. R.t passes with a bang, a couple of parameters for 3 points, the rest 4-5. Well, in general, the bandwidth pleases - about 100 megabits / sec. I use a car (laptop) for almost a day, on weekends I drive a laptop from city to city. Several times I turned off my device incorrectly (pulled out the battery), at least hard, it works quietly. There is only such a situation that it just stops and the laptop freezes. But it rarely happens, maybe once or twice a month. And I'm so happy with these hard drives - neither Barracuda nor Momentus Thin have let me down yet.
