I am a 67 year old female. My faucet was dripping from the spout. I've lived here for 18 years so I ordered the entire assembly after reading reviews of the old spout not being able to be removed. I couldn't remove the nut under the sink fixture so I removed the faucet skirt (I had to use a belt). The valve was corrosion-free and easy to dismantle! I ordered this valve, screwed it on and voila, no leaks.
