Review on ACDelco D577 Original Equipment Ignition by Reginald Holman

OE GM coil - it replaced the old original coil in my 2003 Chevy Astro Van 4.3L V6 engine. One morning the van just wouldn't start, I checked the fuel which was fine, I checked the engine controls which were fine, I checked the spark which meant I had to remove the engine box. I checked for sparks on the coil wire - no spark. I took a good look at the coil and when I turned the motor over I saw it sparkle against the coil mount so I ordered a coil and since the distributor cap and rotor were original equipment I decided to order those parts and put them on substitute. Incidentally, the coil on the Astro Van is not easy to replace. With the replacement of these parts, the van started without any problems and has been working perfectly for four weeks, the problem has been solved. The original spool is riveted to the spool holder, the rivets have to be drilled out. This reel comes with all the screws, nuts and other small parts needed to attach it to the reel mount.
