Review on πŸ“± TACKFORM Universal Tablet Holder - Versatile Compatibility for Exercise Equipment & More - iPad & Tablet Compatible by Johnathan Sherman

Revainrating 2 out of 5

I had to use duct tape.

When I received the tablet holder, I was surprised at how big and chunky it looked and felt. As I assembled it, the little pins, or whatever they're called, kept falling out of the ends where the tray's handles are. I was disappointed with these because according to the instructions they were needed to hold the buttons in place. I had to put tape on them to hold them in place so the buttons wouldn't slip out of the slots without my knowledge. I put it on the handlebars of my Precor recumbent, thinking it would be safe, but it was. It fell off the handlebars onto the ground along with my tablet. It was scary but nothing got hurt. It looked and felt secure on the handle, but I don't think I put it on properly. I was able to mount it around the handlebars, although I was still concerned about how secure my tablet would be with this mount. When using the tablet, I found that there was too much play in the swivel arm. I couldn't touch my tablet without wondering if it would fall back out of its holder or off the steering wheel. Every time I turned the page on my tablet while reading, my hand moved as if it had come loose. I checked it every time it moved, so every time I touched my tablet. The tablet holder looks like it could be run over by a tank. However, its use is different. It doesn't match his looks. I wouldn't say it's flimsy, but it just doesn't work as intended. Its use is stressful because you never know if it's working properly.
