I really wanted to like this because it works SO well initially. That is, until vitamin C is oxidized. Having made many homemade vitamin C products over the years, I'm very familiar with telltale signs. It turns yellowish and, worse, causes small rashes. I blamed myself for the first few bottles for keeping them in the shower where the water is heated. Then, for the third bottle, I started keeping it out of the bathroom except when I was using it. If you use less than one bottle per month, this product is most likely not for you as vitamin C oxidizes and causes unwanted stains. This happens to any vitamin C product if it's not properly sourced and manufactured. I'd say if you can throw away half a bottle it's probably still good for you.
