Works no worse than Shark's original.
There is nothing wrong with this product. These filters cost half as much as if you ordered them directly from the manufacturer. They trap dirt and debris, and the new one cools the engine instead of warming it up. Depending on the environment you live in (pets, desert, etc.) they may need to be replaced more frequently, so it's always a good idea to have a spare. For the price it's not a problem.
