Definitely small. My daughter is 3 years old and wears a size 4 so I ordered a size 4-6 and it fits her very well, it's not too tight to leave red stains on her from the fabric. So be sure to order 2 sizes larger than what your child is wearing. Another feature I don't like is 2 different blacks. The picture clearly shows 2 different shades of black but personally I don't like the look, it almost looks like a swimsuit with a tutu over it. Nice fabric and material, it doesn't scratch and breathable for the skin. I recommend just be careful of the size and if 2 different blacks bother you you are advised to find something else.
