Review on Triluca Easy Antenna Fix: Chevy Truck & GMC SUVs/Trucks Antenna Mount Repair by Marcus Loeffler

I installed this on my GMC Sierra 1500 08 and it solved my cracked base problem perfectly but I ran into ONE problem. You will need a dremel rotary tool or similar to remove some plastic from the windshield hood end cap on this body style (this is the plastic piece you will need to remove to install this product). I can't speak for other GM models but this particular hood end cap will NOT snap into place without removing some material from the underside. If you take your time it will come out clean and you won't even be able to tell the part has been altered. Installation was fun and took about half an hour including Dremel work. This is so much better than spending half a day removing parts of the dash and wheel arch liner to properly install the new factory antenna base, I just don't have time for that. Totally satisfied with this purchase.
