Cheap & Dark Best Window Stickers & Films

This isn't the first time I've used window film. I have tried several products from this brand and this one really blew me away. First, it looks textured in the product photos. It is not. Okay, it has texture, but not what it looks like. It's just a texture, just like thin lines going in the same direction. These lines do not give the film a textured look. I had other window films from other (better) brands that put different textures on each section for a more realistic look. It's a nice touch that's completely lacking. How about fat? This material is thin. So thin it broke 2 tiny holes when I smoothed it out with a shower scraper! Come on! The mop has a soft rubber blade, similar to a windshield wiper blade. That should never have happened! Films from other (better) brands do not tear at all. They are also thicker and much more flexible. The photos I have provided are of my two very small bathroom windows. It was very sunny outside when I took the photos. I took one with every closed window and with every open window. This movie is too dark. I have to turn on the light to see properly. A window overlooks all agricultural land, pastures, no trees. But look how dark it is! The other window has one, one! next to a tree that doesn't even have leaves yet! These are just the opening hands. So dark again! I want to remind you that it was a super sunny day. No clouds. It will create a depressing den in winter if I leave it. Size: Pay very, very, very close attention to the size when you decide to order this. It's very tight. Measure your window glass and make sure it fits. If you don't mind putting up poor quality window film, spending an insane amount of time and having tiny windows, then I think you like me. As far as I'm concerned, it's over. I'm investing time and don't want to cancel all my work just yet. Next time I'll go to Lou though, where I can really hold things and see what I get. Lowe's also sells large/wide rolls. For those windows, that size was fine, but I have a window in an annex that's pretty damn small, but too big for a narrow sheet like F. Visually (not counting how dark it makes my bathroom), it doesn't really look like it so bad looking high. But as the one who actually made it, I know what POS really is. Bottom line, I don't recommend it. There are too many better quality options to waste time and money (even a small amount) on this doo-doo reel.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
