I have two organizers and each holds over 200 crayons and drawing pencils, all neatly and without problems. The holes are arranged in layers so you can easily store and find items of different sizes together. For example colored pencils. This was the main reason I bought these. I needed an organizer that would not only fit all of my items but also make it easy to find my pencils. It organizes my things and looks very nice! The design is sleek and simple, just what I wanted.
