Much better than I expected based on some of the reviews on this product. I found it very beautiful and very functional. It wasn't difficult to put together, but it took a long time. A beautiful combination of wood finish and metal accents, more modern than an old children's table design! I wish they would offer the option to replace the keyboard slider with a different drawer as many of us have transitioned to laptops rather than full sized computers with separate keyboards. Contrary to other complaints about the size of the boxes, I had no trouble installing the organizer, double layering it like trash boxes. It holds everything: paperclips, staples, pens, lighters and more. The rest of the boxes work the same way. I think the only improvement I would make would be to put a small shelf on the left side to the back on a nice chrome cylinder like the one under the table. Something like a small floating shelf that adds space and style. The open shelving above the drawers is a good size and can be used for a variety of things. I suggest a table cushion to avoid destroying the table while writing. Even the calendar works. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I have to fiddle with the drawers to make them have the same opening between them, it's a pain! I chose the doctor chair for portability and it works great. Small in size, easy to tuck under the table when not in use, the backrest is also detachable! The table is great, I really like it and have no issues with it, it's chocolate colored which was also a nice touch and it has a rougher texture than those cheap laminates, this one is a little better. I chose the one that was slightly damaged as it was less of a hassle than packing it up, sending it back and starting over. Assembly is a combination of wood dowels, screws and wood screws, the sad part is the pre-installed wood dowel which has broken into pieces from shipping/handling and hopping like packaging. Replaced them at a hardware store so be aware. Also, one corner of the tabletop was dented and one was scratched. It's still worth buying and hopefully you'll feel better.
