I'm a landscaper and my shoes are losing money. I had these shoes last year and they were great until they got wet and I made the mistake of throwing them in the dryer and they shrank. This season I took Keen Flint Lows. It was a nice comfortable shoe, a little lighter than the Lansing Mids and also a little more breathable due to the much more mesh surrounding the foot, but after only a quarter of a season they weren't looking very good. . The outsole started to peel off and the upper wore out quickly. I think they are meant for easier work. I went ahead and bought another pair of Lansing Mids and they held up great for the rest of this season and I suspect they will last for most if not all of next year. They're a little heavier and a little less breathable, but to be honest, I need something durable in my job, and that's true.
