I bought a GPSMAP60CSX bike mount about a year ago and have used it many times. Most of the use has been on roads or fairly slick trails. I have mountain biked twice with this mount. I managed to snap the top of the mount (the hole where the round button on the back of the GPS goes) when I hit the device with my knee. I think the area at the top of the GPS stand could be strengthened if Garmin decides to redesign this product. I can still use the mount, but the GPS turns off when I hit big bumps in the trail (road riding isn't an issue). I would recommend always wearing an armband around your handlebars as a safety measure to avoid losing or damaging your very expensive GPS. For mountain bike use, I think this product is definitely worth $20. For everyday mountain biking you shouldn't have a problem. As another reviewer mentioned, this is not compatible with a road bike (at least not mine). I have a Cannondale Synapse and this mount will not fit my handlebars. I'm still looking for a way to use my Garmin with a road bike.
