I don't use my printer that often but when the toner finally ran out a few years later I was afraid to buy a replacement because I thought that it would cost almost as much as the printer initially cost. But I've tried this replacement and am pleasantly surprised so far. It was well packaged and had clear instructions; They only replace a small part of the big thing you usually pull out to clear a paper jam. The few dozen pages I've printed since then have been dark and clear. Time will tell how long it will last but for my needs it was an economical and still great replacement.
