I have both a 18L and a 22L Teton Oasis. i love them both Basically I leave them boxed and in my two cars. We regularly participate in events or outdoor activities. I have Maxpedition organizers inside: one with a multi-tool, flashlight, etc. one with first aid. My wife and I have different jackets. Each also has small binoculars, rock bars, and other miscellaneous items. I don't use a hydration bladder in any backpack, but I do use this case for the items listed above. When I first got the backpacks they were a bit stiff but over time they loosened up and became very comfortable. I've been looking for a backpack with the following features for a long time: comfortable shoulder straps with a chest clip, small hip belt (I love this size), various pockets, side mesh for hydroflasks (the long skinny works great). The bag is sturdy and the zippers work great. Fully adjustable for different body types and compression straps for what you wear. Cool packaging. What I would change is that the large main compartment has a flap that zips up. Rain protection provided. For me, however, it just gets in the way of using the zipper. It would be better without him. Second, I would paint the inside of the backpack in a light color. Finding something in a backpack is much easier.
