Okay, I shouldn't waste my time writing nonsense about flash drives on a Saturday night. but these cheap CDs are driving me insane and it's literally the only way out these days (other than trampling on all the little freaks like they're roaches). The main problem with the drive is that the contact mechanism connecting the drive to the connector appears to be completely loose, resulting in the drive being installed and removed haphazardly, often very quickly. This happens on almost every USB port on every computer I use them on. Luckily, I never intended to use them for anything important. To be honest I don't even know why I would buy anything other than USB drives because the write speeds on them are just terrible compared to what everyone is used to these days. TL; DR - don't worry.
