Review on 🔧 Powerbuilt 640819 Mechanical Scissor Jack - Alltrade, Black, 3000 lb Capacity by Viswanath Lopez

My car had a scissor jack that froze so I decided to replace it. I bought this. Right out of the box it was a problem. The jack didn't look greased at all, and when I opened it up a bit to set it about level with the jack seat, it was a real struggle. The jack was so tight I really wanted to fight it out by 2 or 3 inches. Then I went and lubricated all the moving parts - it helped a little but not much. The real problem came when I tried to jack up the car. I thought the handle they gave you would work better than the one on the jack that came with the car, but I was wrong. There is no way you can get enough power to jack up the car with the handle that came with this jack. If I was stuck somewhere and all I had was this pen, I was going to be in trouble. I had to take a screwdriver and use it to turn the jack half a turn to jack up the car. I'm sorry I bought this. If I hadn't greased it I would have returned it to Revine. Now I have to carry a big screwdriver in the car to use this jack.
