These lace curtains make a really cool Halloween decoration for your windows and I've had loads of compliments on them from the 300+ trick-or-treaters we've had (old enough to comment - -RZHU I CAN'T)! My parents wanted to know where I bought such wonderful (and different) window decorations. They will serve you well for many years. A note: they look best with some sort of colored curtain behind them to give them a little more ambient light than just "room" light shining through them alone. I used "cheap" burgundy foils, but other warm colors work as well. We didn't even put the lace curtains on the rods, just wrapped them around the window frames with blue masking tape so our paint (or curtains) wouldn't get damaged and the tape wouldn't show under the window. on the outside as I think they look best stretched rather than mounted on a stem. Our home is over 160 years old and the double hung window panes are 28" x 70" (35" x 72" for the entire window frame) so the curtains for our windows were a bit big but still looked awfully great !
